Description de l'emploi
As a Logistics Administrative Officer, you will support the cross-dock department, where incoming shipments are received, processed and sorted according to their final destination. You play a crucial role in ensuring smooth administrative processing and accurate shipment follow-up.
- Open and manage operational files in internal systems from start to finish.
- Prepare and process transport-related documentation, including customs and sea freight documents.
- Handle invoicing activities accurately and on time.
- Ensure timely data entry and follow-up of shipments throughout the transport process.
- Process both incoming and outgoing orders efficiently.
- Communicate proactively with customers and provide updates regarding their shipments.
Votre profil
We are looking for a motivated professional who enjoys working in a dynamic logistics environment and has a hands-on approach.
- You have completed a degree or training in Logistics. Experience within freight forwarding is an advantage.
- You are administratively strong and comfortable working with computer systems and digital tools.
- You have a hands-on mentality and are proactive in identifying and solving issues.
- You can work independently while also being a strong team player.
- You are communicative, stress-resistant, accurate, proactive, autonomous and result-oriented.
- Knowledge of logistics documentation and formalities such as CMR, Packing List, T1 and EX-A is a strong asset.
- You have an excellent command of English, both written and spoken. Knowledge of Dutch is a plus.
- You are available for a temporary assignment through an interim contract and can start quickly.
