How to do a good onboarding
Strong onboarding is one of the most powerful ways to get new employees, permanent or temporary, into place quickly. Yet onboarding is still often underestimated.

A good onboarding starts before the first day of work. Send practical info, a warm message and possibly a schedule. This will make the employee feel welcome right away.
On day one, it's all about welcome and clarity. A tour, introduction to the team and an overview of expectations create calm and confidence.
The first weeks are crucial. Plan check-ins, give feedback and ask how things are going. New employees do not always dare to ask questions themselves, so take initiative.
Don't forget the culture, either. Explain how you work together, communicate and take decisions. This prevents misunderstandings and speeds up integration.
A good onboarding takes little time, but delivers huge benefits: higher retention, faster productivity and a stronger bond with your company.
